Elia Kazan, who was awarded a Tony as an outstanding stage director for his work with "Death of a Salesman", is shown in 1949. The Award was presented at the American Theatre Wing's third annual Antoninette Perry Awards Dinner April 24, 1949 at the Waldorf-Astoria. Kazan died on Sept. 28, 2003 at age 94.
